The Aum Gurudutt Girnari Ashram was established at Santacruz ,Mumbai on 15 th December 1996.

Mahant Shree Guruji Mamaji and Sadguru Mataji installed the marble idol of Bhagwan Shree Dattatraya, the incarnation of the Holy Hindu Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh at the Ashram.

In very short time thousands of people from the cities and villages of India , and even from foreign countries came to the Ashram to get the Divine Darshana of Bhagwan Shree Dattatraya and their beloved Shree Guruji Mamaji and Mataji,who always welcome them and speak lovingly to them.

Many social welfare activities are carried out by the Ashram. Needy Patients are given medicines and hospital expenses, deserving students helped with uniforms , fees and stationary,handicapped persons provided with vehicles to make them self-sufficient,food items distributed to the needy, widows given employment, couples given financial help during their weddings etc. There is never any discrimnation of caste or creed and everyone is treated with equal care and concern.

In order to reach out to a larger number of people, the Ashram has expanded its activities and has acquired a plot of 5 acres of land near Rajkot city, Gujarat on the Rajkot-Ahmedabad Highway No.8 B ,near GIDC of Kuvadva village.

This new Ashram has many bigger and more ambitious plans.

The Bhoomi Pujan of the Gaushala ( a shelter for cows) of the Ashram was performed by the mayor of Rajkot ,Shri Dhansukh Bhanderi on 25 th march 2007 ( visit Activities to view Recent photos of GAUSHALA )

Future plans of the Ashram :

•  Annashetra- to feed all visitors & devotees.

•  An old people's Home.

•  A Hospital and Health club to provide modern facilities to the common man.

•  A library with educational religious and mythological books.

•  A Bal Vatica – a play school for children.

•  A Video theatre where religious films will be screened.

•  A professional Training centre to help youngsters find employment.

•  Samuh Lagna- Where people from different communities will take their marriage vows together.

•  Destitute women will be taught some art or craft to enable them to stand on their own feet.

•  An ayurvedic garden with medicinal plants.

•  Free boarding and lodging for all visitors.

•  Akhanda Dhuno – an eternal flame which will burn forever.

•  A Dev Mandir – An all Religion Temple where all religions of the world will be represented.

The aim of the Ashram is to welcome people from all religions, from all castes and creed ,from all over the world and prove that they call all live together in harmony.
